Our Origin
Hypernova Solar was founded in 2018 by a group of George Mason students who were passionate about making a change in the world.
In early 2019, the team officially began to design and construct their first vehicle, with the hopes to compete in the World Solar Challenge in the Fall of 2019.
Our Mission
To design, build, test, and compete with the next generation of renewable energy vehicles.
Our goal at Hypernova Solar is to make a real impact on the world around us. Our vehicles are innovative, practical, and realistic, exactly what is needed in the modern world.
Our Races
Our team competes in a variety of races across the world. These competitions typically involve driving thousands of kilometers, over multiple days, across entire continents.
